Windows 11 Moment 5 is here and ready for download! This latest update to the operating system brings a bunch of exciting.
The Windows 11 update journey keeps going with the launch of Moment 5! This update brings lots of cool new stuff to the Microsoft operating system. You can get this update through Windows Update, and it’s like a stepping stone to the next big OS update, Windows 11 24H2, coming later this year. Moment 5 is all about artificial intelligence, with new features for Copilot and some neat tools to use generative AI.
Windows 11 Moment 5: what’s new in the update
With Moment 5, Windows 11 brings lots of new features for its users. Now you can use Copilot plug-ins to add third-party services right into your system. The first plug-ins available are OpenTable and Instacart, which let you book tables at restaurants and do home shopping. And more plug-ins for services like Shopify, Klarna, Kayak, and others are coming soon!
Plus, the Windows 11 update gives Copilot some cool new abilities. Now Copilot can access system settings, show your device’s IP address, launch accessibility features, and more. This means Copilot is becoming a bigger part of Windows 11, showing Microsoft’s commitment to using AI to make their operating system even better.
Continuing with AI, let’s talk about some new features in the Photo and Clipchamp apps, two free apps from Microsoft. Now, thanks to AI, you can remove unwanted objects from your photos (like background objects) in the Photos app. And in Clipchamp videos, AI can automatically remove moments of silence.
Moment 5 also brings some new accessibility features to Windows 11. Voice Access, which lets you control Windows with your voice, has been improved. You can even set up custom commands for specific actions. Plus, the sharing function now includes third-party apps like WhatsApp, Snapchat, and Instagram.
Another cool thing is the better integration with Android smartphones. With the Connect to your phone app, you can use your smartphone as a webcam for your Windows 11 computer. You can also sync notifications, reply to messages, and access your camera roll.
And there’s more! With Intelligent Snap, Windows 11 can suggest ways to arrange your windows on the screen to make the best use of space. The Widgets tab has also been improved with new organization tools. And for businesses, there are simplified updates, new tools for presentations and video conferencing, and new features for Windows 365 Cloud PC.
